CyberArk PAM Engineer / Information Security Engineer 4

Long-term hybrid contract in Charlotte, NC (12 months) focused on Information Security Engineering and advanced CyberArk PAM administration. This role supports complex, security-critical initiatives and emphasizes hands-on ownership of credential and secrets management across large CyberArk environments.

What you’ll do

You will consult on information security engineering initiatives with broad impact, supporting large-scale planning and technical decision-making. The work involves reviewing and analyzing complex, multi-faceted, longer-term challenges where multiple variables must be evaluated, including factors that may be unprecedented.

Key deliverables include contributing to the resolution of difficult situations by applying a strong understanding of information security function, relevant policies and procedures, and compliance requirements. You will also provide strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel to align solutions with operational and security needs.

Required experience

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
• 7+ years administration experience supporting large, complex CyberArk environments
• 7+ years of Windows OS administration experience
• In-depth knowledge of PAM tooling, including CyberArk PAS Vault plus DR, CPM, PSM, PVWA, CP, CCP, and SIA
• 5+ years of credential management expertise with advanced management of credential management systems
• 3+ years credential and secrets management experience in a cloud or DevOps environment
• 5+ years automating workflows using Powershell, Python, Shell, or similar tools
• Experience with SailPoint and CyberArk integration
• Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Experience with databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Experience with directories (LDAP, AD)
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Documentation of technical configuration
• CyberArk certifications are an added advantage
