Job Description

The Cyber Security Analyst L4 (Contract) role in Minneapolis, Minnesota is focused on identifying advanced threats, supporting incident readiness, and maintaining audit readiness while implementing disaster recovery measures aligned to cyber security regulatory frameworks.

Role Purpose

This position supports the analysis of attack patterns, the development of incident response plans, and the maintenance of audit readiness. It also involves implementing disaster recovery measures to help ensure ongoing adherence to applicable cyber security regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze attack trends and correlate logs across systems to identify advanced threats.
  • Enhance monitoring processes and apply improvements that support faster detection in line with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, create incident response plans, and implement disaster recovery measures designed to reduce business disruption.
  • Perform forensic analysis using advanced analytics tools and apply mitigation actions to meet compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams, external vendors, and auditors to support compliance with security frameworks.
  • Maintain audit documentation with accuracy, and implement processes that support audit readiness and continuous compliance.
  • Assist with cybersecurity awareness sessions, including guidance on phishing and handling malicious emails.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience: 5 years
  • Mandatory Skills: Penetration Testing (PT)

  • Compensation: USD 60,000 - 135,000 per year
