Job Description
DataAnnotation seeks an experienced Cloud Security Engineer - AI Trainer to support the evaluation and improvement of AI systems focused on cybersecurity. This is a fully remote contract opportunity with flexible scheduling, centered on reviewing AI-generated security content and solving security-oriented technical challenges.
Role Overview
You will help train AI models by assessing the real-world accuracy and security relevance of AI-produced cybersecurity material. The work also includes designing and resolving technical problems that support AI training, along with writing security-focused explanations and code that improve model performance over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, with an emphasis on real-world validity.
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code to support training outputs.
- Deliver feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI security models.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related work. Government or military cyber operations experience is also acceptable.
- Some coding experience is required, including comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
- English fluency at native or bilingual level, with strong writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, including OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials.
