Cloud Security Engineer - AI Trainer

Work fully remote and help train AI systems for real-world cybersecurity. This contract opportunity supports a flexible schedule, hourly pay at $50 to $100 USD per hour (with potential for higher bonus rates on certain projects), and the chance to directly influence how AI models reason about threats and defenses. You will evaluate and improve AI-generated cybersecurity content, create security-focused training problems, and provide feedback that shapes the next generation of AI security models.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, for real-world accuracy and validity.
• Develop and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear technical explanations and security-relevant code aligned with training goals.
• Provide feedback that directly informs the evolution of AI security models.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent fields, including government or military cyber operations.
• Some coding experience; comfort navigating and patching a codebase is important.
• English fluency (native or bilingual level) with strong writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Cybersecurity certifications are a plus (examples include OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar).
