Classified Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Description
Northrop Grumman operates a secure, on-site environment in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, where a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst is needed to oversee information system lifecycle security activities within a classified setting. The role centers on conducting audits, continuous monitoring, and risk-based analysis to sustain a robust security posture across critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Execute system audits and ongoing monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
- Assess systems and networks inside the enclave to identify deviations from approved configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Analyze security requirements to validate them and recommend additional safeguards.
- Assist in implementing required government policy, propose process tailoring, and document related activities.
- Operate within formal program control processes to mitigate risk and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including coordination, testing, documentation, investigations, and lifecycle-related activities for hardware and software.
- Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) mandated by accrediting authorities through pre-test preparations, participation, result analysis, and reporting.
- Document A&A outcomes and related technical or coordination activities, assembling the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
Requirements
- Master's degree with zero years of experience; or Bachelor's degree with two years of experience; or Associate degree with four years of experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with six years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current U.S. Government 8570 IAM level I (or higher) security certification (examples include CND, Cloud+, Security+ CE).
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance (minimum), with a closed investigation date within the last six years, or enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of employment.

Compensation
Annual salary range: USD 87,600 to 131,400 depending on experience.
