Application Security Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
Flexible, fully remote contracting with a direct hand in building the next generation of AI security models. You will review and validate AI-generated cybersecurity content and develop security-focused technical problems that help train models for real-world accuracy. Work is project-based, on your own computer, with a schedule you control.

Pay: $50 to $100 USD per hour (hourly; higher bonus rates may apply to select projects)
What you’ll do
- Review AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques.
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide feedback that feeds directly into the development of next-generation AI security models.
What you bring
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work, including government or military cyber operations.
- Coding experience and comfort navigating and patching an existing codebase.
- English fluency (native or bilingual) with strong writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certifications are a plus (examples include OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar).
