Join Gwinnett Technical College as a part-time, non-benefited Adjunct Faculty member in the Computer Sciences Division. This onsite role in Gwinnett County, GA focuses on delivering quality cybersecurity instruction while supporting safety and security compliance within the training area. The position reports to the Program Director – Cyber Security and is structured around teaching, evaluating student progress, and completing required documentation.
Responsibilities

Prepare lesson plans for specified courses in classroom and/or online instruction (20%).

Evaluate students’ progress toward course goals and objectives (20%).

Prepare and maintain required documentation and administrative reports (10%).

Maintain a high level of effort and commitment, operate effectively within the organizational structure, and demonstrate trustworthiness and responsible behavior (20%).

Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area (10%).

Accept direction and feedback from the supervisor and follow through appropriately (10%).

Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts (5%).

Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs, philosophy, and purpose of Gwinnett Technical College (5%).
Requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in the field plus 18 semester hours or 30 quarter hours at the graduate level in the specified field, or a Master’s degree in a related field.

Two years of relevant work experience.

CISSP and/or Security+ certifications are preferred.
Employment Terms and Compensation
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. It is classified as FLSA Exempt/Professional. Compensation is provided as a lump sum based on contact hours taught. The shift is any (United States of America).
