Technical Lead - InfoSec & AI Platform

Dingoblu Financial Inc is seeking a Technical Lead for InfoSec & AI Platform to set and own foundational security and AI governance across its technology landscape. This role combines information security leadership, compliance execution, and security-aware platform architecture with a clear focus on building a governed AI stack that scales across the organization and its provider ecosystem.

Working 100% onsite in Charlotte, NC, you will report to the Technical Program Director and serve as the technical owner and roadmap driver for the Information Security and AI Platform foundations, from planning and policy through launch and ongoing improvement.

What You’ll Own

• Own the InfoSec, AWS, and identity/endpoint security policy set, drafting, reviewing, and maintaining it with leadership and an external security partner.
• Drive the compliance runway for SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and NIST CSF through gap analysis, audit-ready evidence, and security and compliance work processes with tracking.
• Own vendor and provider security review as part of third-party risk management across identity, endpoint, network, and cloud tooling, including evaluation of new tools.
• Define and drive identity, endpoint, and incident response operations, including SSO, EDR, alert routing, triage, and escalation.
• Maintain the application/asset inventory and own the launch-readiness security checklist as scope and timelines evolve.
• Lead the inventory and management of externally facing product documentation (privacy policy, terms, and in-app legal or policy documents) to support ongoing compliance.

AI Strategy and Governance

• Own DingoBlu’s tiered AI stack strategy, covering broad usage, R&D tooling, governance and compliance platforms, and cloud governance; evaluate new AI tools for cost, security, and regulatory fit.
• Design and evolve the AI Dev Pipeline, including CI, security scanning, infrastructure provisioning, and AI-assisted development, and identify where guardrails are needed.
• Draft and maintain AI usage guidelines and drive AI adoption across teams.
• Track AI-relevant regulatory developments in a regulated fintech environment and flag implications early.

Platform and Cross-Functional Execution

• Partner with engineering and product on integrations, APIs, and AI-governance-friendly dev-pipeline architecture and methodology.
• Maintain visibility into the provider and vendor roadmap, translating it into a technology roadmap that reflects security and compliance priorities.
• Represent security, AI, and platform considerations in cross-functional planning with Ops, Product, and Tech to support launches and future releases.

Core Requirements

• 8+ years in a technical role spanning security, cloud/platform engineering, or software delivery, including hands-on ownership of a security or compliance function.
• Experience turning ambiguous, fast-moving requirements into documented, adoptable policy and process.
• Working fluency in AWS (IAM, logging, security tooling) and modern identity/endpoint stacks (SSO, EDR).
• Exposure to compliance frameworks including SOC 2, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001, along with genuine fluency adopting and governing AI tools and platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document policy, present tradeoffs to leadership, and partner daily with engineering.
• Certifications such as Security+ and AWS certifications are a plus.
