Sr AWS Application Security Engineer, ADC AppSec

Senior AWS Application Security Engineer focusing on threat modeling, automation, and guiding AWS IT Security teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct application security reviews
• Thorough threat model of AWS services
• Drive ongoing improvement and research activities as needed
• Deliver security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Produce security guidance documentation
• Develop security tooling
• Deliver security metrics and drive enhancements
• Support recruiting efforts and related administrative tasks

Requirements

• At least 4 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks via command line tools
• Hands-on, non-internship experience identifying security vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and remediation techniques in real-world environments
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical work experience
• 5+ years of any combination of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security
