Job Description

The FBI offers the opportunity to apply your cybersecurity and technology expertise in support of investigations tied to federal law, cybersecurity, and public safety. This full-time, onsite role in Miami, FL also involves work “on the road,” including liaison with law enforcement partners across multiple jurisdictions.

As a Special Agent, you will plan and carry out investigative work where judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability are essential. You will also maintain effective working relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies as cases require.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
  • Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
  • Build and maintain liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain a level of physical fitness needed to perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.

Education

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field) from a U.S. accredited college or university.

Compensation

$103,326.00–$133,200.00 per year (commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay).
