Job Description
Join the FBI as a Special Agent focused on cybersecurity and technology-related investigative work.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws related to cybersecurity and public safety
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet changing investigative demands
- Build and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies
- Maintain physical fitness readiness needed to perform law enforcement duties
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance
- Willing to travel as required
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field)
- Degree must be from a U.S. accredited college or university
Salary and Job Details
- Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite)
- Work location: On the road
- Job type: Full-time
- Pay: USD 103,326 - 133,200 per year
- Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay
