Job Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology expertise to be stationed onsite in Cleveland, Ohio. This role blends investigative responsibilities with advanced technical work to identify and counter cyber threats that jeopardize national security. The successful candidate will work with diverse law enforcement partners while applying specialized skills to safeguard critical infrastructure and information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
  • Apply sound judgment, adaptability, and resourcefulness to meet investigative demands.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
  • Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Salary

Pay level for this position is $103,326.00–$133,200.00 per year. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
