Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise
Job Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology expertise to investigate federal cybersecurity and public safety cases. The role draws on a technical background, requires physical readiness, and involves collaboration with law enforcement partners. This position is based onsite in Tampa, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal law, focusing on cybersecurity and public safety matters.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
- Develop and sustain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical fitness level required to perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.

Salary Level
Pay range for this position: $103,326.00 – $133,200.00 per year.
