Summary

The FBI is recruiting a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology acumen to investigate cyber threats and support national security objectives. The role combines focused training, practical investigative work, and the application of advanced technical knowledge as part of federal law enforcement responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute investigations into potential federal law violations, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
• Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet investigative demands.
• Establish and maintain productive liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
• Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Eligibility to meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.

Compensation

Salary range: $103,326–$133,200 per year
