Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise
Job Description
The FBI seeks an on-site Special Agent in Seattle who specializes in cybersecurity and technology to join investigative teams protecting national security. The role blends investigative duties with advanced cyber expertise and requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance, and travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead investigations into potential federal violations, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet the demands of complex investigations.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Fulfillment of the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
