Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise
Job Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology expertise to investigate federal cyber, national security, and public safety matters.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal law, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
- Forge and sustain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical readiness required to perform law enforcement duties.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field).

Salary
- Pay level: $103,326.00–$133,200.00 per year.
- Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
