Job Description

The FBI seeks a Special Agent with cybersecurity and IT expertise to investigate threats and safeguard national security through cyber defense, threat detection, and vulnerability analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out investigations into potential violations of federal law, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
  • Exercise sound judgment, creativity, and flexibility to meet diverse investigative needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison networks with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
  • Maintain the physical readiness required to perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
  • Hold a master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
