What you will do

  • Plan and lead investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity concerns, and public safety matters
  • Apply discernment, adaptability, and resourcefulness to meet investigative needs
  • Build and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners
  • Maintain the physical readiness required to perform law enforcement duties

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Compliance with FBI Employment Eligibility requirements
  • Master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university

Role overview

This position is exempt from the federal civilian hiring freeze. As an FBI special agent with information security and SIEM experience, you will directly contribute to national security. Your background in networking, industry certifications such as CompTIA, or ethical hacking can help shape defensive approaches against cyber threats, fraud, and evolving risks. The role emphasizes translating cybersecurity expertise into actionable federal law enforcement outcomes while safeguarding the nation.
