Job Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking a Special Agent with cybersecurity and information technology expertise to lead investigations and apply security skills to safeguard national security. This full-time, onsite role is based in Seattle, Washington, with a salary range of $103,236 to $133,200 per year. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance, and a master's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university. The role offers opportunities to collaborate across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners while maintaining the physical readiness required for law enforcement duties. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity concerns, and public safety matters.
  • Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain the physical fitness necessary to perform law enforcement duties at a high level.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
  • Master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
