Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the SSE Risk Assessment Team to advance program initiatives.
- Assess and advocate secure system designs for stakeholders; identify and propose mitigations for vulnerabilities and risks across the program life cycle.
- Ensure completion of statement of work requirements, milestone exit criteria, and program maturity commitments.
- Operate as a proactive self-starter capable of acting without direct supervision.
- Assist MDT with additional duties as assigned.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Combine technical proficiency with strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate future challenges.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, current and within scope, with an investigation within the last six years.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a timeframe determined by the company.
- Experience researching, interpreting, and developing mitigations for vulnerabilities.
- Experience creating risk scenarios and developing mitigation plans.
- Proven ability to communicate technical approaches and findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong written communication skills and experience preparing documentation.
- Systems Engineer (T-02): STEM bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience (0 years with a Master’s).
- Principal Systems Engineer (T-03): STEM bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD.
- Experience performing Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN) analyses.
- Familiarity with DODI 5200.44.
- Experience conducting Cybersecurity Risk Assessments.
