Senior to Staff Application Security Engineer

Motion Recruitment is hiring a Senior to Staff Application Security Engineer in Phoenix, AZ (onsite) to establish and scale an application security program.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build the application security program from the ground up
• Identify vulnerabilities in APIs, web applications, and internal services
• Run and extend SAST and DAST pipelines
• Manage the bug bounty program
• Join new feature design efforts early to ensure security is incorporated during implementation planning

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in appsec, product security, or devsecops
• Strong software development background
• Hands-on experience with SCA, DAST, SAST, and code reviews
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Prior experience building application security programs from the ground up
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future
