Job Description
Motion Recruitment is hiring a Senior to Staff Application Security Engineer in Phoenix, AZ (onsite) to establish and scale an application security program.
Responsibilities
- Establish and build the application security program from the ground up
- Identify vulnerabilities in APIs, web applications, and internal services
- Run and extend SAST and DAST pipelines
- Manage the bug bounty program
- Join new feature design efforts early to ensure security is incorporated during implementation planning
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in appsec, product security, or devsecops
- Strong software development background
- Hands-on experience with SCA, DAST, SAST, and code reviews
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Prior experience building application security programs from the ground up
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future
