Job Description

NetSPI offers an onsite opportunity in Minneapolis, MN for a Senior Security Consultant focusing on Network Penetration Testing. In this role you will conduct external, internal, and wireless network assessments, deliver actionable reports, and collaborate with clients on remediation. You will help shape testing techniques, contribute to NetSPI services, and participate in thought leadership across a range of channels.

Responsibilities

  • Perform external, internal, and wireless network penetration tests
  • Create and deliver penetration test reports to clients
  • Collaborate with clients to develop remediation strategies that enhance security posture
  • Research and develop innovative techniques, tools, and methodologies for penetration testing services
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of NetSPI services and processes, plus thought leadership activities
  • Provide pre-sales support by assisting with scoping prospective engagements
  • Act as a resource for internal team members on in-depth technical questions or best practices
  • Responsible for QA activities in assigned service lines
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 3–5 years of experience in penetration testing, including network, web, or mobile application testing
  • Experience with offensive toolkits used for network and application penetration testing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration
  • Up to 25% travel
