Provide legal guidance on compliance covering data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance and compliance
Stay current with evolving global regulatory and legislative changes, including:
- European Digital Operations Resiliency Act
- Singapore Digital Operations Resiliency Act
- Brazilian privacy law
Develop global, cross-functional policies and initiatives aligning Pega’s digital security policy, Secure Controls Framework, and other security policies with international legal and regulatory requirements
Support the Business Officer team in negotiating client contracts for cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI terms
Develop and maintain contract language, contract playbooks, and fallback positions for relevant deal scenarios
Lead and develop a team of legal professionals focused on cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI
Leverage dotted-line resources effectively without direct reporting relationships

Business-savvy legal professional with extensive cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI subject matter expertise
Experience with complex software license and service contracts
JD degree
Led a legal privacy/AI/cyber function at a major SaaS company for at least 7 years
At least 15+ years of experience drafting and negotiating privacy, cybersecurity, and AI provisions in complex technology agreements, with significant work related to Cloud technologies
Seasoned in-house advisor on strategic decisions related to privacy, cybersecurity, and AI
