Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Description
Decision Technologies is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support a large NAVSEA contract from our Washington, DC onsite team. The role centers on designing and implementing security infrastructure, monitoring threats, conducting vulnerability assessments, and guiding incident response for a 200-person contractor workforce.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network
- Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
- Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Certification requirements: None
- Minimum experience: 3 years
- A high school degree, or a GED, and ten (10) years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser cybersecurity, information assurance, or Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five (5) years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser cybersecurity, information assurance, or Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience, OR
- A master's degree in a relevant field and three (3) years of relevant Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser cybersecurity, information assurance, or Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience
Experience
- Cybersecurity: 10 years (Required)
- RMF: 10 years (Required)
- Have you supported an Authority to Operate (ATO) process: 10 years (Required)

Compensation
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year. Compensation at Decision Technologies, Inc. is determined by various factors, including location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
