Job Description
RHP Properties is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to lead and strengthen cybersecurity initiatives that support a secure, world-class environment. This onsite role in Farmington Hills, MI focuses on day-to-day security operations, intrusion remediation, and incident response tied to structured frameworks and reporting.
What you’ll do
- Oversee and take accountability for the day-to-day operations of cybersecurity tasks.
- Apply expertise in operational security tooling, including DLP, EDR, XDR, SOAR, and SIEM.
- Ensure timely, accurate remediation and countermeasures for intrusions and compromises across host and network infrastructure, applications, and operational systems.
- Stay current on the latest security, vulnerability, and technology developments.
- Lead security policy and documentation activities aligned to the NIST cyber security framework and compliance needs.
- Use knowledge of malware analysis and email security incidents to support detection and response.
- Manage incident response and reporting.
- Monitor security reports and dashboards.
- Participate in regular audits, including procuring artifacts.
- Assist with evaluating new products and services as needed.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, required.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant cyber security experience.
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
- Experience with NIST, CIS Controls, and SOC2.
- Current information security certifications, such as CISSP, CSSLP, CCFP, or CISM.
- Knowledge of operating systems, 0365, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud security (Azure), Artificial Intelligence, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to translate technical terms to customers.
