Senior Associate, Federal Cybersecurity Services
Job Description
KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to support its Federal Advisory practice, working across information security, data security and privacy, and business continuity initiatives in U.S. Federal government environments. The role focuses on assessing enterprise security posture, contributing to client policy and procedure development, and assisting with security technology and process implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex enterprise environments from an information security perspective across the U.S. Federal government space.
- Partner with high-level client executives and hands-on technology practitioners to drive strategic and practical improvements in information protection, data security and privacy, and business continuity.
- Design and support the development of client policies and procedures using applicable regulations and guidance, including FISMA and the NIST publication series.
- Assist with architecture, configuration, deployment, and service design for security monitoring and analysis tools, including Cloud, Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, and IT-GRC platforms.
- Support project management for cyber security technology and process implementations, including security architecture, cloud security, DevSecOps, risk assessment, incident response, Risk Management Framework (RMF), penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, vendor and third-party risk management, data privacy programs, and delivery activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of information and/or cyber security experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
- Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, and other relevant certifications such as CCSP, CAP, CEH, or CISA.
- Functional certifications such as AWS, Azure, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Google, MCSE, IAM platforms, and IT-GRC platforms.
