Senior AI Security Engineer

Experis is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to design, develop, and deploy autonomous, agentic workflows for cybersecurity use cases. This onsite role focuses on building strong guardrails and security controls around LLM-driven systems, from model tuning to production cloud integration. Based in Tampa, FL, the position draws on experience with AI security, secure automation, and cloud-native engineering.

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain agentic workflows that enable multi-step reasoning and tool-use for autonomous cybersecurity workflows, including incident investigation and vulnerability prioritization.
• Develop advanced, high-precision prompt systems with version control, and programmatically optimize LLM outputs to enforce reliable security logic and automated remediation scripts.
• Use and fine-tune machine learning models such as Deep Learning, K-Means, and SVM to detect sophisticated attack patterns that may bypass signature-based defenses.
• Integrate large language models (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source options) into production using APIs or local deployments.
• Orchestrate data ingestion pipelines, emphasizing vector databases, and re-engineer manual processes into a machine-first approach for unstructured data.

What you bring

• Hands-on Python experience, including data ingestion and cleaning, and familiarity with Scikit-Learn and PyTorch, plus system and web-based integrations.
• Proficiency with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGPT for agent orchestration.
• Hands-on experience using and tuning machine learning models for a range of cybersecurity use cases.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with at least one cloud AI platform, including AWS Bedrock/SageMaker or Azure AI.
• Strong DevOps and integration skills, including Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and deep experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
