Security Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
The Security Engineer - AI Trainer position supports the development of AI chatbots and models for cybersecurity. You will assess AI-generated security content and contribute to training that improves model reasoning about real-world threats and defenses.

Compensation
- Rate: $50 to $100 USD per hour
- Additional pay: Opportunities for higher bonus rates available for certain projects
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, with a focus on real-world accuracy and validity.
- Design and work through security-focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI security models.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work, including government or military cyber operations.
- Coding: Some coding experience is required; comfort navigating and patching a codebase is important.
- Language: Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) with strong writing skills.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Certifications (plus): OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar.
