Security Engineer

This Security Engineer position is a leadership role within the Met Council Information Security team at Advanced Image Inc. The scope includes implementing and supporting an end-to-end set of information security tools and services, along with providing guidance on emerging threats and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and tune security tools and services used across the Council.
• Monitor the threat landscape and recommend technologies and controls to address emerging risks.
• Integrate security solutions with infrastructure and applications, and maintain associated runbooks.
• Conduct health checks, perform upgrades and patching, and validate detection performance and coverage.
• Work with information security teams to embed security by design and provide thought leadership.
• Document configurations and operational procedures to support audits and compliance activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP, or an equivalent credential.
• 5 years of experience in a Security role.
• 3 years of experience with security frameworks and compliance standards including NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, and CIS Controls.
• 3 years of experience in zero-trust, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, and/or network segmentation.
• Experience with identity governance, privileged access management, and multi-factor authentication solutions.

Relevant Technologies and Standards

• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP
• Frameworks and compliance: NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, CIS Controls
• Security domains: zero-trust, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, network segmentation, identity governance, privileged access management, multi-factor authentication

Compensation and Work Location

Salary: USD 103,324.55 to 160,000.00 per year.
