Security Analyst

absiusa is seeking a Security Analyst to support hands-on security work in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on strengthening network security through secure network design and implementation support, while pairing that with the ability to interpret security events from logs, alerts, and network telemetry.

This position centers on working knowledge of security architecture and data protection, along with familiarity with compliance and access models used to safeguard information systems.

What you will do

• Analyze logs, alerts, and network telemetry to support security monitoring and incident-relevant review.

What you will need

• 3+ years of experience; the role also considers BS-level education plus experience as described below.
• BS degree in Computer Science, information systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• A network security centric certification such as PCNSE or CCNA.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, or support.
• Experience in IT security or system administration.
• Working knowledge of secure network design, security architecture, compliance tools, data protection, and access models.
• Ability to analyze logs, alerts, and network telemetry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
