Job Description

CGI Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Application Security Lead to steer security design and implementation for a CGI Federal government program leveraging SAP S/4HANA, GRC, and SAP BTP. This hybrid role in Lebanon, Virginia, offers a competitive annual compensation and requires U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance as part of the contract obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SAP Security Analysts through the full project lifecycle.
  • Leverage project tools and applications to deliver SAP security solutions that align with SAP best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in security solution selection, design, and implementation as a project team member.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen a secure SAP environment.
  • Direct all security aspects of system builds, upgrades, patching, client copies, and system refreshes.
  • Facilitate SAP security workshops with clients and project personnel.
  • Proactively engage the project team and client for requirement gathering and status reporting.
  • Provide extensive training and leadership to client and internal teams.
  • Identify and communicate security issues, risks, and opportunities to support timely resolution.
  • Deliver SAP security solutions, analytics, reports, and design TDS/FDS/WRICEF documents and SOPs.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check; ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience administering SAP security for SAP applications.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a major IT program with multiple teams or projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for interactions across all management levels.
  • Experience in SAP landscape security strategy and architecture.
  • Experience supporting SAP implementations for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (SAP GRC), SAP BTP, and other SAP security tools.
  • Experience with SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based user authorization, and access controls.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP security configuration, user administration, authorization troubleshooting, and role-based security maintenance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with ongoing challenges.
  • Capability to serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and project development teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
