Principal Software Engineer, Cybersecurity

Lead security engineering across cloud, edge, and application platforms in a fully onsite role in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a cybersecurity roadmap spanning cloud, edge, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), application security, and DevSecOps
• Establish Secure SDLC practices and DevSecOps standards across engineering teams
• Lead architecture work focused on data protection for data at rest and in transit
• Drive supply chain security, including strategies for validation
• Mentor engineers and reinforce security-by-design practices across teams

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in software and/or security engineering
• Strong expertise in cloud security, DevSecOps, and application security
• Experience with IaC security, SBOM, and supply chain validation
• Strong Python and shell scripting (bash) skills; Golang is a plus
• Solid understanding of standard SDLC practices
• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Jira and Confluence

Compensation

• USD 155,800 - 224,200 per year
