Principal / Cybersecurity Analyst - 19085

Northrop Grumman invites applications for a Principal / Cybersecurity Analyst responsible for information systems lifecycle activities, security assessments, and authorization and accreditation processes. This position is on-site in Roy, UT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
• Assess systems and networks within the enclave or networking environment to identify deviations from approved configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
• Analyze security requirements to validate them and propose additional safeguards and requirements.
• Assist in implementing applicable government policy, propose process tailoring, and document process activities through participation.
• Establish rigorous program control processes to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software and hardware introduction, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
• Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by government accrediting authorities through pre-test preparations, participation in tests, analysis of results, and preparation of required reports.
• Document the results of A&A activities and technical or coordination efforts, and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.

Requirements

• Educational and experience combinations: Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience; OR an Associate’s Degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of experience.
• Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience; OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience; OR an Associate’s Degree with 6 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8 years of experience.
• Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements for Cybersecurity (722), such as Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
• Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (minimum) with a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years, or enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment.
