Responsibilities

  • Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and processes to assess the security posture of information systems
  • Evaluate systems and networks within the enclave to identify deviations from established configurations and policy
  • Analyze to validate security requirements and recommend additional safeguards
  • Assist in implementing government policy, tailor processes, and document activities
  • Establish rigorous program control processes to mitigate risk and support Assessment and Authorization, including analysis, coordination, testing, documentation, investigations, and hardware and software release considerations
  • Support Security Test and Evaluation as required by accrediting authorities through pre test preparations, participation, result analysis, and reporting
  • Document results of A&A activities and related coordination, assembling the Risk Management Framework body of evidence

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience; or a Bachelor’s with 5 years; or an Associate’s with 7 years; or a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of experience
  • Meet the U S Government 8140 cybersecurity requirements (722) such as Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP
  • Current U S Government Secret security clearance (minimum), with a closed investigation date within the last 6 years, or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of employment

Travel

Travel is required on occasion, approximately 10% of the time.

Note

Due to the classified nature of the work, there are no remote or telecommute options. Applicants should be willing to work on-site in Roy, Utah.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
  • Experience in cybersecurity compliance, including RMF assessments and authorizations
  • Familiarity with security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and documentation including NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs
