Job Description

DataAnnotation is seeking a Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker) - AI Trainer to support the training of AI models for cybersecurity. This fully remote, contract role involves reviewing AI-generated security content and solving security-focused technical problems that improve the quality of AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, to confirm real-world accuracy and validity.
  • Create and solve security-oriented technical problems used to train AI systems.
  • Produce clear technical explanations along with security-relevant code.
  • Provide feedback that directly influences the next iteration of AI security models.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or adjacent work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
  • English fluency (native or bilingual) and strong writing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, for example: OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials.
