Job Description
This contract role supports the training of AI models for cybersecurity by reviewing security-related outputs and working through technical security challenges. The position is fully remote with a flexible schedule and hourly compensation.
Role Summary
As a Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker) - AI Trainer, you will help improve the real-world reliability of AI-generated cybersecurity guidance. You will evaluate security content, assess offensive and defensive scenarios, and contribute to problem-solving tasks designed to train AI systems. Work is remote from New Jersey and available to qualified candidates in specified countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, for real-world accuracy and validity.
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI models.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI security models.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or closely related work. Government or military cyber operations experience is included.
- Some coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) and strong writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Cybersecurity certifications (plus), examples include OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar.
