This contract role supports the training of AI models for cybersecurity by reviewing security-related outputs and working through technical security challenges. The position is fully remote with a flexible schedule and hourly compensation.

Role Summary

As a Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker) - AI Trainer, you will help improve the real-world reliability of AI-generated cybersecurity guidance. You will evaluate security content, assess offensive and defensive scenarios, and contribute to problem-solving tasks designed to train AI systems. Work is remote from New Jersey and available to qualified candidates in specified countries.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques, for real-world accuracy and validity.
Design and solve security-focused technical problems used to train AI models.
Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI security models.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or closely related work. Government or military cyber operations experience is included.
Some coding experience is required, with comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) and strong writing skills.
Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Cybersecurity certifications (plus), examples include OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar.
