Penetration Tester

SecureIT is seeking a remote Penetration Tester to support client engagements in security testing. The role centers on identifying weaknesses across client environments through web application, network, API, and AI testing, and through red team activities, delivering actionable recommendations to strengthen defenses in client engagements. This position emphasizes hands-on testing and collaboration with clients to translate findings into practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Simulate attacker techniques to surface vulnerabilities and weaknesses in client environments.
• Identify security gaps within client systems and provide practical guidance to enhance defenses.
• Conduct hands-on penetration testing across web applications, networks, APIs, and AI-enabled components.
• Engage in red team exercises to evaluate detection and response capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience conducting web application, network, API, and AI penetration testing.
• Red Teaming experience.
• Certifications: OSCP, OSWA, OSEP, OSWE, and AI/Red Teaming credentials.
• Comfort working in client-facing engagements.
