Booz Allen Hamilton in Arlington, VA is seeking an OT and Defense Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority for cybersecurity across Operational Technology and defense-critical systems. The role centers on securing ICS and SCADA environments and mission-critical assets, while guiding risk management, threat mitigation, and resilience initiatives for defense operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the principal technical authority on cybersecurity for OT and DCI systems.
- Provide expert guidance on securing industrial control systems, SCADA environments, and mission-critical defense assets.
- Advise leadership and engineering teams on compliance, risk management, and advanced threat mitigation strategies.
- Maintain awareness of evolving OT-specific cyber threats, attack methodologies, and adversary capabilities.
- Lead technical and strategic initiatives to ensure the resilience and security of defense-critical operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, risk management, cyber operations, governance, or compliance
- 6+ years of experience securing OT, ICS, DCI, or SCADA systems
- 2+ years of experience leading teams
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures or Incident Response playbooks
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree

Work Model

Clearance
- TS/SCI clearance is required and applicants may need to meet eligibility for access to classified information
Compensation
The typical compensation range for this role is $112,800 to $257,000 per year, influenced by location, education, experience, and organizational considerations. This posting may close within 90 days of the posting date.
