Lead Azure DevOps, Infrastructure & Security Engineer
Job Description

This hybrid role in The Woodlands, TX, puts you at the helm of the Azure-enabled infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, and security posture, with responsibilities spanning cost visibility, observability, and executive reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, operation, optimization, and continuous enhancement of intelliSPEC’s Azure infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent tools, driving IaC maturity.
- Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines across applications, APIs, mobile, and platform services.
- Engineer secure, reliable, and automated pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Support readiness for SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and customer security reviews.
- Build and manage observability across Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, with alerts, dashboards, and incident workflows.
- Create runbooks for incident response, disaster recovery, backup validation, environment recovery, and production support.
- Own Azure cost visibility, budget controls, tagging discipline, usage monitoring, and cost optimization recommendations.
- Develop cost dashboards for leadership, engineering, and finance teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud security.
- 3+ years hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar tools.
- Experience managing Azure cost optimization, governance, tagging, budget controls, and cloud resource efficiency.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure cloud architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues across applications, infrastructure, network, identity, and deployment layers.
- Ability to build executive-level dashboards using Power BI, Azure Workbooks, KQL, or equivalent BI and reporting tools.
- Strong documentation skills, including runbooks, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive outcomes.

Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, Hybrid – 3 days in office; 40 hours weekly
