Responsibilities

  • Oversees the full lifecycle of assigned IT assets, using automated property management systems such as ServiceNow to document acquisition details.
  • Examines system interfaces to identify and resolve integration issues.
  • Performs routine inventories and audits to reconcile physical and electronic records.
  • Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments, security evaluations, and/or audits to assess impacts with asset accountability.

Requirements

  • Must be a United States Citizen or National.
  • Must pass security/background verification and a drug screening.
  • Selective Service registration is required.
  • Financial disclosure may be required in accordance with DOJ and Federal ethics guidelines.
  • A one-year probationary period may apply.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary duty travel of approximately 25 percent of the time.
  • Must obtain and maintain a FAC-COR certification.
  • A USA Hire assessment is required; you will receive instructions by email after applying, with a 48-hour window to complete after the closing date.
  • Basic Qualifications (OPM 2210 series): refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for experience requirements for GS-12 and above.
  • Specialized Experience: for GS-14, one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service or comparable non-Federal experience.
  • Specialized experience includes managing the full lifecycle of IT assets with automated property management systems, conducting inventories and audits, and performing risk and vulnerability assessments and security evaluations related to asset accountability.
