IT Risk & Security Analyst

Experis is seeking an IT Risk & Security Analyst to join the Information Security Department in Meridian, Idaho, on a hybrid schedule. The position centers on risk assessments, risk treatment, policy governance, and ensuring compliance with NIST CSF and HIPAA, while collaborating with stakeholders to promote security awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in information systems and networks.
• Develop and oversee risk treatment plans to mitigate identified threats effectively.
• Maintain alignment with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including NIST CSF and HIPAA Security standards.
• Oversee the lifecycle of security policies to ensure they remain current and enforceable organization-wide.
• Partner with stakeholders to elevate security awareness and drive ongoing cybersecurity improvement.

Requirements

• 3 to 4+ years of IT experience, with at least three years focused on cybersecurity-related work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with IT risk assessments, policy management, and security frameworks like NIST CSF and HIPAA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
