Information Systems Security Engineer (TTO12)

Que Technology Group is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to support cybersecurity efforts across information systems throughout the system development life cycle. This role focuses on ensuring required security features and safeguards are designed, integrated, and implemented, while addressing IA and IT compliancy needs.

Role Summary

The Information Systems Security Engineer will apply cyber security expertise across information systems to support the design, integration, and implementation of security features. The position includes evaluating security needs and residual risk, and executing IA and IT compliancy measures to support mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess security needs for information systems
• Recommend security solutions for information systems
• Assess residual risk for systems being developed and/or modernized to meet the NSA/CSS mission
• Perform IA and Information Technology (IT) compliancy measures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline, and 7 years’ experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• OR 11 years’ experience in lieu of degree
• Required certification: 8570 IASAE II, IAM II, or IAT III level certification
• TS/SCI with FSP required
• Most recent poly required within the last 7 years
