Job Description

Support DoD and military cybersecurity missions by integrating requirements into secure architectures, designs, development, and configuration while maintaining system security posture to achieve IATO/ATO.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate security requirements through security architecture, design, development, and configuration.
  • Coordinate system changes or modifications with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Implement and enforce DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures based on cybersecurity-related documentation.
  • Document, monitor, update, and manage systems to maintain an acceptable security posture and achieve Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) and Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Support clients with cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, including technical implementations and RMF, plus analyzing applicable policies.
  • Develop solutions to complex cybersecurity problems involving hybrid systems.
  • Perform work with minimal supervision within established procedures and practices.
  • Secure and protect critical AI/ML networks for client mission and operational needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years guiding a client through the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ATO process.
  • Experience as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), Information System Security Officer (ISSO), or in IT/Cybersecurity/IT Service Management.
  • Experience conducting enterprise vulnerability scanning using tools such as ACAS, performing risk remediation, conducting security control assessments, and applying security principles for compliance with DoD directives and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Experience with certification, accreditation, assessment, and authorization, including IATT and ATOs.
  • Experience engineering, implementing, and hardening robust security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools to defend against emerging threats.
  • Knowledge of systems and software engineering management process and its implementation as applied to DoD acquisition processes across life cycle phases.
  • Knowledge of DoD communications, cybersecurity, and IT systems.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Education and experience combination: Associate’s degree (or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree) and the following options:
    • Associate’s degree + 7+ years with Cybersecurity
    • Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years experience with Cybersecurity
    • 9+ years experience with Cybersecurity in lieu of degree
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
  • CISSP-ISSEP, CCSP, or CISM certification

Work Model

  • Onsite: work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.

Clearance

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Top Secret clearance is required.

Location: Warner Robins, GA (onsite) | Salary: USD 99,000 - 225,000 per year | Experience: 3+ years

Education: Associate’s degree (or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree) and the required years of cybersecurity experience as listed above.
