Information Security Engineer

Mojo Solutions and Services MSS LLC is hiring an Information Security Engineer for onsite work in Irvine, CA (multiple openings). This is a full-time role with a consistent schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The position offers a salary of $75,795/year ($75,795/year listed).

The work focuses on strengthening network and security operations using industry-standard tools across monitoring, detection, and firewall management. The role also includes frequent travel to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience as a Network & Security Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, IT Manager, Information Security Engineer, Senior Network & Security Specialist, or in a related role.
• 2 years of experience with firewall configuration and management (examples include Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• 2 years of experience with security tools such as SIEM (examples include Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• 2 years of experience in network monitoring and packet analysis tools (examples include Wireshark and tcpdump).
• 2 years of experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• 2 years of experience with version control systems such as GitHub for managing security scripts and playbooks.
