Information Security Analyst, Assistant Vice President

Citi is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support its global security operations function in Tampa, Florida. In this hybrid role, you will help maintain operational security across critical systems by investigating incidents, assessing technical risk, and ensuring security controls are consistently embedded across platforms and applications.

For this position, the annual salary range is USD 87,280 to 130,920, with a shift schedule of 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM EST. Shift days are Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on operational needs.

What you will do

• Monitor system alerts to help maintain the health of critical systems.
• Troubleshoot client and system issues, evaluate technical risk, and coordinate timely resolution across impacted systems.
• Assess the risk and operational impact of change events and system issues, escalating to technology management when required.
• Deliver technical application support for security infrastructure and applications across production and UAT, actively managing stability, capacity, and performance.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to confirm operational security requirements are met during application integrations and system changes.
• Maintain and improve scripts and automation tools that support system monitoring, process efficiency, and operational continuity.

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems in an operational or system administration capacity.
• Working knowledge of network security components, including load balancers, proxy servers, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS, plus encryption protocols including PGP, TLS, and SSH.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• An analytical approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
