Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect

Realign LLC is hiring for an Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect in New York, NY (onsite) to define enterprise security architecture, target state, and a multiyear security roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise cybersecurity architecture, target state, and multiyear security roadmap.
• Create reusable security standards, architecture patterns, and control requirements.
• Lead security architecture reviews and deliver design approvals for enterprise initiatives.
• Perform threat modeling, security risk assessments, and control-gap analysis.
• Ensure security architecture alignment to business objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust and cloud security principles.
• Advise senior technology and business stakeholders on security risks and security investment priorities.
• Support proactive opportunity identification, security assessments, solution development, and client workshops.

Requirements

• Enterprise cybersecurity architecture and security strategy expertise.
• Experience with security architecture roadmaps, standards, patterns, and governance.
• Zero Trust architecture and security control design experience.
• Cloud security architecture background across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Ability to conduct threat modeling and security risk assessments.
• Security architecture experience across application, infrastructure, data, identity, and network domains.
• Working knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Experience with an Architecture Review Board and providing design approvals.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
• Executive-level security advisory and presentation skills.
• Executive stakeholder management and cross-functional influence.
• Client-facing consulting and advisory experience.
• Workshop facilitation and executive presentations.
• Strategic planning and roadmap development experience.
• Opportunity identification and shaping solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Performance Architect experience/skill.
