Job Description

The Cybersecurity Tool Support Analyst Tier II role supports the USMC M26 contract in Quantico, VA, delivering 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment. The position also provides information assurance and cybersecurity tool support, including SIEM, host-based security, vulnerability assessment, and IT systems security risk management aligned to DoD and Intelligence Community requirements.

Compensation

USD 155,000 - 185,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate operational proficiency with major enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, including Splunk.
  • Utilize major enterprise host-based security suites such as Trellix.
  • Demonstrate experience with DoD-standard vulnerability assessment tools, including ACAS.
  • Apply knowledge of information security systems and applications for DoD and IC projects, aligned to DoD 8510.01 and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503.
  • Perform Intelligence Community Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management.
  • Use cybersecurity tools such as HBSS and Forescout.

Required Qualifications

  • Three to five (5+) years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience with enterprise Comply to Connect and Network Access Control suites such as Forescout, and enterprise host-based security suites such as Trellix, plus experience with tools such as Splunk and ACAS and HBSS.
  • Ability to maintain IAT II Certification.
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for CAP/SAP/STO access.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication with employees and external contacts, with demonstrable oral and written communications; technical publications and conference presentation examples may be requested.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a relevant technical field.
  • Seven (7+) years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Information Security (IS) security controls and STIGS requirements as applied in the DoD Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
  • Ability to work with technical and management staff across different levels.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph.
  • US Citizenship is required for Top Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
