Cybersecurity Technical Writer - AI Trainer
Job Description
DataAnnotation is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Technical Writer - AI Trainer to support the evaluation and improvement of AI-generated cybersecurity outputs. The role is fully remote, with flexible scheduling and paid hourly work.
Location and Employment Details
- Location: Indiana (remote)

- Pay: USD 50 to 100 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity content for real-world accuracy and validity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques.
- Design and solve security-focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
- Produce clear technical explanations and security-relevant code.
- Provide targeted feedback that informs updates for the next generation of AI security models.
Required Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in roles such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or closely related work, including government or military cyber operations.
- Coding experience required, with comfort navigating and patching an existing codebase.
- English fluency (native or bilingual) with strong technical writing ability.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Cybersecurity certifications are a plus, including OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, and similar credentials.
