Cybersecurity Specialist
Job Description
Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to deliver cybersecurity-focused project support and subscriber alignment activities for the CSSP. This hybrid role is based in Adelphi, MD with occasional remote work, and it includes standards compliance, reporting, sustainment transition support, and CORA scheduling and readiness tracking.
In this position, you will help IT and cybersecurity efforts move from planning through execution and closeout, while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to keep requirements, scope, and timelines aligned. You will also support non-traditional subscriber alignment activities end-to-end, including coordination across solution development, procurement, configuration, delivery, and transition to sustainment for operational services and renewal.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IT and cybersecurity projects across planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout to meet technical and mission objectives.
- Ensure work aligns with cybersecurity/IT standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to define requirements, resolve issues, and deliver outcomes within scope and schedule.
- Assist with budgets, schedules, quality planning, and project documentation in partnership with Financial Analysts and Quality Assurance.
- Develop recurring and ad-hoc reporting using qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate operational effectiveness and service delivery performance.
- Support non-traditional subscriber alignment end-to-end (for example, TEMs, solution development, procurement coordination, configuration, and delivery), then assist with transition to sustainment for operational services and renewal.
- Track and coordinate CORA scheduling for all CSSP sites in accordance with CSSP timeframes and inspection schedules, and report CORA readiness status to customer sites and the C5ISR Center CSSP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (related field preferred), with either 8 years of experience or 10 years of additional relevant experience.
- DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize in a dense environment to meet defined and/or undefined deliverables.
- Ability to deliver concise briefs and reports to large groups and senior leaders, with strong communication skills for conveying complex cybersecurity concepts.
- Expertise in cloud technology, including cloud platforms, services, and cybersecurity-relevant best practices.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, to manage high volumes of email and ensure timely, effective correspondence.
- Familiarity with Army and DoD policies that influence the cybersecurity community to support compliance and alignment.
- Use project management principles and methodologies (PMI) to plan, execute, and complete tasks for efficient delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Preferred experience with Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English.

Compensation: USD 155,750 - 163,529 per year.
