Cybersecurity Specialist

Realign LLC is hiring a Cybersecurity Specialist for onsite work in Irving, TX, focused on AI-powered security engineering and endpoint automation.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered security engineering solutions and endpoint management automation using Python, Go, LLMs, and agentic frameworks to improve operational efficiency, monitoring, and incident response across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Integrate security platforms, APIs, SIEM technologies, and endpoint detection and response solutions to support scalable automation, improved visibility, and proactive risk management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience across a software development role and a security engineering role.
• Proficiency in Python/Go and agent development frameworks, including deep understanding of LLM APIs and capabilities.
• Experience with LLM prompt engineering and output parsing, building reliable agentic workflows with error handling and failure recovery.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability for agent systems.
• Experience developing with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, vector databases, semantic search, and security product APIs such as CrowdStrike Falcon Platform.
• Ability to develop Endpoint Management, Detection, and Response tooling, specifically for CrowdStrike or similar SaaS products.
• Collaborate effectively with peer security teams.
• Understanding of standard development processes (TDLC/SDLC/ETLC) and development-specific tools (plus).
• Strong foundation in endpoint management, systems administration, and OS internals across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Self-starter who enjoys engineering challenges, learning new tools, and applying technology.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication to collaborate cross-functionally and present findings to management.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Container Networking (OVN-Kubernetes/CNI).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
